Orchard School Gate (1998)
David Freedman was commissioned to work alongside the pupils of Orchard School in Hackney, London to design a gate.
Following several design sessions, elements of many of the pupils drawings were interpreted in steel to construct the gate. This is a composite picture as guard rails on the pavement make it difficult to take a full height photo.
